Description

Acrylic Sheet (PMMA / Plexiglass)

Acrylic (PMMA), commonly known by brand names such as plexiglass, is a transparent thermoplastic prized for its glass-like clarity, light weight and weather resistance. Acrylic sheet is produced by casting or extrusion into flat boards.

With light transmission of at least 92%, excellent UV stability and high impact resistance, acrylic is ideal for signage, displays, glazing and protective barriers. It is half the weight of glass and far easier to fabricate — cutting, laser-engraving, bending and bonding cleanly.

We supply acrylic sheet (clear, coloured or opal) from 1 mm to 50 mm thick in standard and custom sizes, with factory-direct export to the USA, Mexico, Brazil and Europe.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is acrylic / PMMA / plexiglass?

They are names for polymethyl methacrylate, a transparent thermoplastic with glass-like clarity, light weight and weather resistance.

What is acrylic sheet used for?

It is used for signage, displays, glazing, protective barriers, light diffusers and decorative panels.

Is acrylic better than glass?

Acrylic is about half the weight of glass, has higher impact resistance and is easier to fabricate, while offering even higher light transmission.

What thicknesses and colours are available?

We supply acrylic from 1 mm to 50 mm thick in clear, coloured and opal finishes, in standard and custom sizes.

Do you export acrylic sheet?

We export acrylic worldwide including the USA, Mexico, Brazil and Europe, with samples available.
